The Publisher's Prayer Intentions

  • For an increase in faith: that I may move mountains of ignorance, doubt, and error. For an increase in hope: that I may direct my desires to the possession of my eternal inheritance. For an increase in charity: that I may cling to my heavenly Lord as a bride to her bridegroom. For an increase in prudence: that I may see clearly what I am to do and do it wisely. For an increase in justice: that I may always give what I owe and seek what is right. For an increase in fortitude: that I may endure and conquer the evils permitted by Providence. For an increase in temperance: that I may use this world’s goods as instruments of holiness.

  • For my family and friends: that their guardian angels, the Immaculata, St. Joseph, and the Holy Ghost will preserve and protect them. For those who love me, and those who hate me: that God will bless them in abundance. For married couples: that drawing upon the grace of their state they may grow in holiness and bring up their children in the love of God. For my relatives and friends who have died, and for all the faithful departed: that they may attain the vision of God’s glory. That the Lord may have pity on the Holy Souls in Purgatory and admit them into His heavenly kingdom.

  • For all who are sick or suffering either mentally, physically, or spiritually: that they may receive the grace of patience and the return of their strength. For all who are oppressed by various needs or trials: that the Lord may raise them up. That those who are lonely and downcast may come to know the depths of God’s love for them in prayer and by compassionate neighbors. For those who have been abused or assaulted at the hands of priests or other religious figures, that God will ease their pain and judge those who harmed them accordingly. For those entangled in lust, gluttony, avarice, and violence: that slavery to sin may yield to the freedom of the children of God. For all those in mortal sin or in need of spiritual healing: that they may avail themselves of the sacrament of penance.

  • For my Spiritual Father and the priest assigned to me in the Prayer Crusade for Priests: that God will grant them many blessed years in His service, and that their eternal reward may surpass all comprehension and expectation. For the Holy Catholic Church of God: that the Lord may guard and cherish her. That the enemies of God and His Church may be rescued from damnation. For the Vicar of Christ, for the Successors of the Apostles, and for all who preach and teach the Catholic faith: that the Holy Ghost and the Splendor of Truth may guide and fortify them in their mission. For missionaries and for persecuted Christians everywhere: that the trials they endure may increase their faith and their glory. For young men and women discerning their path in life: that the Holy Ghost may lead them into their God-given vocations.

  • For all who do not yet believe in Christ: that by His grace they may turn and follow Him. For the conversion of infidels, apostates, heretics, schismatics, and all who are misled by them. That those who have strayed from the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church may hear the Good Shepherd calling them to return to the flock. That each of us may experience the grace of deeper conversion and more intimate relationship with Almighty God.

  • For an increase in Eucharistic adoration. That the faithful will grow in their love of Our Lord, present in the Most Holy Eucharist, and yearn to spend an hour with Him in humble adoration. That the faithful would prefer to receive communion on the tongue as the result of a heightened awareness and respect for the true body and blood of Christ, crucified for our sake at Calvary. That the whole of the Catholic Church will form the habit of praying the Most Holy Rosary daily; and place themselves under the Mantle of the Immaculata consecrating their lives to Her Most Immaculate Heart. That modesty in dress, purity of heart, chastity in love, and longing for holiness will thrive once more in the Church.

  • For this nation: that good laws and good morals may prevail over sin and corruption. For all peoples and nations torn by strife: that the Lord may grant His peace and the spread of the Gospel. For the unborn and the elderly: that the Holy Ghost and the God of Justice may move the minds of politicians to grant them the respect and the rights they deserve. That Almighty God, the Lord of life, may change the hearts of those who promote the culture of death. That all women who have had abortions, and those who feel tempted and afraid, may be granted the grace of conversion and the friendship of Catholics. That the Lord will guide the hearts and minds of those who seek to recklessly redefine the definition of gender and sacred bond of marriage. For students of all ages, in educational institutions both public and private: that the Holy Ghost will protect their minds and hearts from the reckless brainwashing and agendas of educators that are fueled by demonic influences and radical secular agendas.

  • In Thanksgiving to Almighty God, Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, the Immaculata, St. Joseph, my Guardian Angel, and my patron saints: for being by my side throughout my earthly journey from conception to death; guiding, comforting, and constantly loving me -- even when I fall short and fail in my duties, and the expectations of me as a Catholic. For the countless blessings that Almighty God has bestowed upon me. That I never take for granted of all the good things in my life. That God will bless others so abundantly as He has blessed me.

O God, infinite in mercy and goodness: I offer thanks to Your most gracious Majesty for the gifts You have bestowed upon me, always beseeching Your clemency; that as You grant the petitions I ask of You, that You will never forsake me, but will prepare me for the greater rewards that still await me. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son: Who with You lives and reigns in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King and our admirable conductor, you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
